my future job
My future work is really a subject that worries me a lot. I am currently studying sociology and I am often asked: what do sociologists do? And the truth is that even I don't know how to respond.
I know there are many areas in which I can develop, such as academia, research, public politics, although I have not yet decided what I really want to do, I think I will probably work in research for development, interventions from institutions such as foundations or NGOs. Because I find that theoretical work is a bit boring and I would like to be involved in something concrete and not be so abstract because it overwhelms me.

As for the specialties, I did not plan to continue studying, however I think it is likely that I regret this idea and take a master's degree in sexuality, on the other hand, most of my elective courses are on feminism, and research methodologies, which are topics that I like.
I would like to work here in Chile, because I feel that I know the context here well and what things I can contribute from what I learned. Although I would like to travel a lot just to visit places that I don't know, so I want a good salary with which I can travel and save for my future because my dream is not really to work all my life and to be able to have a business in my house as a greengrocer or a minimarket.
hahaha I think it is a really interesting work, go ahead!
